Data Deletion Instructions

Counter is an AI front desk made by Nanova Labs, LLC. It answers calls, texts, and Instagram and Facebook Messenger messages for businesses, and runs the live demo on getcounter.app. You can ask us to delete the information Counter holds about you at any time.

How to ask us to delete your information

1. Email hello@nanovalabs.com.
2. Tell us the phone number, email address, or Instagram or Facebook name you used with Counter, and what you’d like deleted. You can just say “everything.”
3. We’ll delete it within 30 days and email you when it’s done. We’ll also ask the business you contacted to delete its copy.

You don’t need an account, and it’s free.

What we delete

• Call transcripts, and the phone number you called from. We don’t record call audio.
• Text messages, the replies, and your phone number.
• Instagram and Facebook Messenger conversations, and the account ID Meta gives us for them.
• Names, email addresses, and phone numbers you shared, and callback requests.
• Booking details, including appointments you booked in the demo.

If you replied STOP to a Counter text, we keep only that opt-out, so that number doesn’t text you again.

What’s deleted without asking

Text, Instagram, and Messenger conversations are deleted 30 days after the last message. Booking records, callback requests, and flagged conversations are deleted after 90 days.

Stopping messages

• Texts: reply STOP to any Counter text.
• Instagram and Messenger: Counter only replies to messages you send, and never messages you first.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, you may also have the right to know what we hold about you and to correct it. Ask the same way. We won’t treat you differently for asking. The Privacy Policy explains everything we collect and how long we keep it.
